Description

The White-fronted Bee-eater is a resident and colonial member of the spectaculalry coloured family. Their noist breeding colonies are hives of activity as parents are constantly sallying-forth to hunt for flying insects. The nest tunnels are usually dug into the soft sandy banks along river courses.
