Description

Little Terns (Sterna albifrons) female with hungry newly hatched chick. Indicator of climate change as Little Terns are only able to feed in top layer of sea water, and as sea warms up sand eels move to deeper colder water meaning that they are unable to reach their main prey item. Berneray, North Uist, Outer Hebrides, Scotland
